We are hiring a **Business Analyst (BAN) **for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

As **Business Analyst (BAN)** you will be responsible for:
Following tasks will be performed by external service provider, with a focus on the data protection, personal data and data retention domain:
- Analysis of Business requirements.
- Documentation of Business requirements.
- Business model analysis.
- Business process analysis.
- Business processes modelling
- Functional requirements and business cases analysis.
- Risk analysis.
- Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents,
- Project Charters and Security Plans

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- Bachelor degree of 3 years.
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks, with a focus on the data protection, personal data and data retention domain:
- Good knowledge of information systems matters.
- Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes.
- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.).
- Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value.
- Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile).
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to understand, speak and write **English at a level B2**:
- Ability to understand, speak and write **French **will be an advantage
**SPECIFIC EXPERTISE**
Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
- Personal Data frameworks
- Data protections frameworks
- Data retention frameworks
- 5 years hand-on experience as Business Analysis
Following specific expertise is considered as an advantage for the performance of tasks:
- 5 years of Project Manager expertise is considered as an advantage.
**CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS**:
One of the following certificates & standards are considered as an advantage for the performance of tasks:
- Data retention policies of the European Commission
- Personal Data policies of the European Commission
- Data Protection policies of the European Commission
- Project Management certification
- ITIL Certification
- Certificates of similar nature will be considered as valid.**Important**
