As part of our growing team, we are seeking a driven and experienced **Purchasing Assistant** (M/F/x) to help optimize our procurement processes and strengthen our market position from our locations in Son (NL) or Pelt (BE).
- Your role:_

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play an essential role in negotiating purchase conditions, sharing market and price trends, and managing administrative tasks within the procurement department. You will closely collaborate with other departments within the OQEMA Group and suppliers to achieve optimal results.

Key responsibilities include:

- Negotiating purchase conditions for your assigned products.
- Sharing market and price trends.
- Processing purchase prices.
- Conducting supplier evaluations.
- Inventory management and conducting stock and order checks.
- What do you bring?_
- Administrative experience in procurement and negotiation.
- Experience with SAP and SalesForce is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Analytical and results-oriented.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, preferably with knowledge of French.
