Qc Assistant

Overview:
The QC Assistant will provide product support to Operations and external customers by assisting the QC group in a wide variety of functions. This may include sampling raw materials, chemical analysis, operating equipment, assisting with Certificate of Analysis completion and verification, receiving and logging in samples through LIMS. The QC Assistant will work in close collaboration with Operations, IPRA and Customer Service.

**Responsibilities**:
As QC Assistant, your responsibilities include:

- Take samples of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products
- Assist with sample preparation and analyses using prescribed procedures and equipment to ensure accuracy and quality specifications are met
- Enter results into software and review with supervisor if necessary
- Approve raw materials, intermediate and finished products
- Report non-conforming product results to supervisor
- Calibrate equipment and perform daily maintenance
- Adjust methods
- Check certificate of analysis of raw materials
- Ensure quality specifications are met for incoming raw materials and finished goods
- All duties mentioned in the system procedures and the internal regulations of the quality system

Qualifications:

- Do you have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, or did you already have working experience in a laboratory?
- Are you able to rework and reformulate non-conforming products into a new product?
- Do you have excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English?
- Are you able to work, troubleshoot, maintain, and perform method validation on laboratory equipment?
- Good in prioritizing your workload and not stressed easily?
- Are you a team player?
- Are you proficient in using different computer systems?
