Robotics Embedded Software Teamlead

Stow is a dynamic and global key player in the racking & storage solutions industry. In line with our continuous growth and innovation efforts, we have developed automated storage solutions both for pallets and bins. These automated solutions are headed by stow Robotics.

To ensure the future growth of our stow Robotics offices in Lokeren we are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and people-oriented Embedded Software Teamlead to define our Robotics software landscape.
The purpose of our software team is to design and code a robust SW platform that fullfills functional and safety requirements and is scalable to many of our robotics products.
You will be responsible for followings tasks ;
- Build up the team and the process to develop the software for our shuttles.
- Define the strategic approach and short-term priorities
- Contribute to define the shuttle controls strategy
- Help set up and maintain (embedded) software architecture.
- Prioritize project tasks to complete on schedule while maintaining quality of work.
- Collaborate closely and stay aligned with other groups, both within and external to Stow Robotics.
- Contribute to build a Software release process and the future CI/CD pipeline.
- Key role in:
- Supporting software and product testing.
- Supporting our product experts.
- Supporting the redaction of software product documentation.
**Qualifications**:
What We are Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 10 years of engineering experience in real time embedded software, preferably in machine or automotive development.
- V model experience (requirement, design, coding, integration, testing )
- An experience in management or leadership would be greatly appreciated
- “Maker” mentality.
- Autonomous and team player.
- English is a must (B2 or higher).
