Our client is a fast growing company active in the **Regulatory affairs sector**.

With a team of approx. 50 people, they pride themselves on a big team spirit and a shared commitment to excellence. They're looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join them, who will not only be the first in-house legal counsel but also play a pivotal role in shaping their legal landscape.

As** Legal Counsel **you will be **responsible** for:

- Commercial Contracts: Dive into the exciting world of commercial law, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of commercial contracts and schedules of work that drive our business forward. Within this responsibility, which will be an important part of your work, you will work closely together with the CEO and other people involved in Business Development. Hands-on support as well as strategic advice are both vital parts of your job;
- Corporate Housekeeping: Ensure our corporate structure is robust and efficient, covering board meetings, regulatory compliance, and governance matters;
- Real Estate Projects: Embrace the challenges of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and other real estate projects, helping to shape our future;
- Day-to-Day Legal Questions: Be the go-to person for all legal inquiries, providing swift and creative solutions to the daily legal questions that arise;
- GDPR and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure we're fully compliant with GDPR and other relevant regulations, protecting our company and clients' data;
- Legal Support to the HR Team: Support and collaborate with HR to address legal matters related to employment, labor law, and personnel issues;
- Litigation: Follow up on the punctual litigation cases, try to remediate them efficiently and coordinate with external counsels when needed;
- Experience in M&A is a plus.

The required **profile** for the **Legal Counsel **position:

- A Master's degree of laws;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Counsel and/or as a Lawyer, with a focus on commercial law, corporate law, and real estate law;
- Dutch native speaker (or equivalent) with an excellent command of English (both oral and written). Knowledge of other languages (eg, French, German) is a plus but not a requirement;
- An open-minded, polyvalent, and creative thinker who thrives in a collaborative team environment;
- Ability to adapt to a variety of legal challenges and a willingness to learn and grow with our company;
- Willingness to contribute, both on a strategic level as hands-on.
