**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation**:

- Install electrical systems, wiring, conduit, lighting, and fixtures in new and existing buildings.

**Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.

**Repair**:

- Diagnose and repair electrical problems, including faulty wiring, broken fixtures, and other electrical issues.

**Blueprints and Schematics**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.

**Compliance**:

- Ensure all electrical installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

**Safety**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

**Testing**:

- Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other construction professionals, including contractors, architects, and project managers, to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly into building projects.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a construction or building environment.
- **Licenses/Certifications**: Valid electrician’s license required; additional certifications are a plus. Driver’s license.
- **Knowledge**: Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical codes. Familiarity with electrical testing devices and tools.
- **Skills**: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Class B **driver's license**:

- Strong **service orientation, problem-solving skills, and enjoyment of teamwork**:

- Very **good communication skills**:

- Languages: Dutch and/or English and/or French
