**Key Accountabilities**

To support the Diegem, Belgium growing business, we are seeking to strengthen Zurich’s IT department with an IT Governance Analyst.

The IT Governance Analyst will be focused on the design, implementation and execution of an efficient and effective regulatory compliance process for the IT department, aiming at assuring compliance with overall policies, documented operational processes and regulatory laws.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Agree an approach to provide overarching governance, risk and control oversight over our business units and IT to perform functions such as:

- Ensure risk, control and compliance is considered appropriately in prioritization decisions
- Liaise and coordinate with the governance teams across the business units to ensure there is a joined-up approach and response
- Discuss and agree key metrics and information to be shared with key stakeholders with regards to compliance follow-ups by
- Reviewing required actions to comply with Data Policy and deciding what controls need to be in place.
- Developing internal control metrics (KPI), reporting and review rigor with functional staff
- Preparing, facilitating and assisting with Internal & external Audits and help drive resolution of deficiencies and outstanding items
- Drive the development of the IT’s governance program by establishing level 1, 2 and 3 process documentation, SOPs and appropriate controls to Business/regulatory standards for all IT processes
- Assure operations execution in-line with processes, SOPs and business/regulatory policies
- Coordinate and drive with the Benelux Legal/Compliance/Risk team, full adherence to Operations’ key Risk policies and responsibilities (Information Risk, Security & crisis management, Outsourcing, etc.)

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics (or other relevant degree)
- Minimum of 3 years directly related experience in Governance, Audit (Internal/external) or Operational controls.
- Relevant working experience in Insurance sector (preferable), Banking or Financial Services.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Languages: English is required
- Experience of managing audits and regulatory relationships
- Experience in project management and demonstrated ability to lead change
