**About the Role**:
Nipro Digital Technologies Europe (NDTE) recently embraced a new challenging journey towards AI. The AI team is part of the R&D division at NDTE and has the mission to design, build, and deploy AI solutions towards driving process optimization for our customers worldwide. Would you like to be part of our AI journey?

**What You'll do**:

- As a part of the AI team, you will work on challenging projects such as enabling AI for healthcare, smart manufacturing, and predictive maintenance. We expect you to contribute end-to-end as a data scientist, from the business understanding and data preparation to the production deployment of predictive models.

**What You'll Need**:

- You are data curious, passionate about creating business value through data science, and fascinated about AI technologies. Preferably you have a background in mathematics, physics, or computer science, and ideally, a few years of industry experience or hold a Ph.D. in a scientific discipline.
- You have hands-on experience with data science and related technologies (Python, R, Spark, SQL, databases, Git, bash scripting, etc.). You know concepts of MLOps and cloud computing or are eager to tackle them.
- You are familiar with data science modelling techniques such as clustering, regression, SVMs, Bayesian inference, Gaussian processes, optimization algorithms. Knowledge of NLP, reinforcement learning, and deep learning frameworks would be valuable.
- You know caveats to handle time-series data, build scalable predictive models, and evaluate their performance through business metrics.
- You are a critical thinker, focused, motivated, proactive, and fast to learn new concepts towards implementing data-driven solutions which will improve our business and offer an AI-enabled experience to key users.
- You enjoy working in an international environment and speak English fluently. Any other language is a plus.
