**Working as a Accountant & VAT Specialist**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant & VAT Specialist to join our growing team. At Orange Cyberdefense, we pride ourselves on creating a secure digital environment for businesses around the globe. As an Accountant & VAT Specialist, you will play a critical role in our finance department, focusing on managing and overseeing the entire spectrum of VAT and accounting processes. This position requires a high level of precision, expertise in VAT legislation, and the skills to handle various financial tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local and international VAT laws and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts, including ledger entries, invoices, and receipts.
- Conducting regular financial analysis and reporting, supporting the finance team in making informed decisions.
- Liaising with tax authorities and managing any VAT-related queries or issues.
- Keeping updated with changes in VAT legislation and accounting standards, advising the company on any impacts.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate VAT treatment across all transactions.

Assisting with external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations regarding VAT practices

**What We Expect from You**:

- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant & VAT Specialist, with a solid understanding of VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English dutch and French, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

A team player who can work independently with mínimal supervision.
