Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- You support living together and have the task of monitoring, coordinating and executing the day-to-day affairs in the transition house. In this way, you keep an eye on all actions that residents undertake on a daily basis (household tasks, personal hygiene, appointments with service providers, relaxation, group activities, etc.).
- You act as the first point of contact and mentor for the residents.
- You ensure that agreements and rules are known by the residents, follows this up and maintains control and supervision.
- You chair the daily morning briefing with the residents and monitors their activities outside the transition house.
- You guide residents in directing their own lives. Where necessary, you support both the group in the group processes and the individual residents in their recovery processes.
- You have an eye for the talents of residents and create a (group) atmosphere that is safe enough for them to use those talents.
- You communicate and work closely with the entire team so that themes that are alive in the group can be included in the process by the entire team.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- Higher education in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Minimum 5years of relevant experience in a similar social care environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to establish trust and rapport with residents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Flexibility outside of working hours
- French and English, Dutch is a plus.
