ZOO Antwerpen, een van de oudste dierentuinen ter wereld, is op zoek naar een getalenteerde tijdelijke collega of freelancer om de bezoekersbeleving in onze parken naar het volgende niveau te brengen. Onze missie: _connecting life by showing life_. Als Experience Designer / Imagineer speel jij een cruciale rol in het ontwerpen en realiseren van vernieuwende concepten en attracties die de bezoekers van onze parken keer op keer versteld doen staan.

**Wat ga je doen?**
- Je gaat aan de slag met het bedenken en uitwerken van nieuwe attracties en ervaringen die aansluiten bij de educatieve missie en visie van onze tuinen (bv. avonturenparcours, speeltuinen, immersieve dierenverblijven, educatieve opstellingen).
- Je werkt samen in de ZOO Studio met een team van enthousiaste professionals, waaronder grafici, dierenexperts, landschapsarchitect, setdresser, educator en technici, om tot innovatieve, immersieve en duurzame concepten te komen.
- Je draagt bij aan het continu verbeteren en vernieuwen van bestaande attracties, de aantrekkelijkheid en de bezoekersbeleving van onze tuinen.
- Je blijft op de hoogte van de laatste ontwikkelingen in de entertainmentindustrie en past deze kennis toe in jouw werk voor ZOO Antwerpen en ZOO Planckendael.

**Wat verwachten wij van jou?**
- Je hebt een relevante Masteropleiding en minstens 5 jaar ervaring in de entertainmentindustrie, themaparken of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied.
- Je hebt een creatieve geest en kan out-of-the-box denken.
- Je bent een grafisch talent, hebt ervaring met Adobe InDesign, kan moodboards samenstellen en story lines uitschrijven.
- Je bent conceptueel heel sterk en hebt technische noties om deze concepten te toetsen aan haalbaarheid.
- Je kan unieke belevingen uitwerken voor diverse bezoekerssegmenten.
- Je bent nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail.
- Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal.
- Zoölogische kennis is een plus maar geen must. Liefde voor natuur en dieren wel.

**Wat bieden wij?**
- Een tijdelijke opdracht tot en met juli 2024, met kans op verlenging. Je kan deze uitvoeren als freelancer of op payroll (tijdelijke contract) al naargelang jou het beste uitkomt.
