As a Scientist in Radiochemistry you will be responsible for the development of radiopharmaceutical products in line with the company's strategy. You will participate in the elaboration of the specifications of the products to be developed, design and carry out the useful experimental plans and ensure the conformity of the results with the specifications of each product. When the development is finalized, you ensure the technology transfer and follow-up with the first customers.Your responsibilities:
- In charge of the design of the processes and consumables necessary for the synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Implement and optimize the automated synthesis of radiopharmaceutical tracers.
- Participate in the definition of research protocols, develop experimental designs necessary for product development, evaluation of their robustness, and their continuous improvement.
- Develop and write the specifications for each product.
- Maintain the laboratory notebook and complete and structured experiment reports
- Write the different reports (development, tests and analyses )
- Write and maintain technical documentation and user manuals for TRASIS compounds and chemical material.
- Design, implement and validate methods for product quality control.
- Carry out conformity controls.
- Consult and master the technical characteristics of equipment and consumables, and define processes compatible with them.
- Communicate and manage the necessary actions in case of anomaly and suggest ways to improve.
- Carry out installations at the customer’s site when required and necessary.
- Participate in the research and selection of suppliers.
- Participate in regulatory inspections (FAMHP, ) and others if necessary.
- Participate in the drafting of patents.
- Write scientific publications, participate in conferences.
- Work in compliance with radiation protection and laboratory rules.
Your profile:
- Master or PhD in chemistry.
- A first experience in radiopharmaceutical industry is an asset.
- Fluency in English is essential (Minimum C1-C2).
- Knowledge in organic synthesis.
- Good knowledge in quality control techniques (HPLC, GC, MS, NMR ).
- Knowledge in radiation protection is an asset.
- Attractive to work in a laboratory environment.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Proactive, pragmatic and result oriented.
