**DESCRIPTION**

The AXA Belgium **Communication, Brand & Sustainability** team is looking for a ‘**Senior Spokesperson & Communication Expert**‘. Within our team, we are all passionate about delivering an exquisite customer experience, sharing the same ambition:

- Enhance the overall AXA brand experience and positioning via communication actions, media campaigns and events
- Internally and externally market our business realizations

- Increase Employee Engagement; enhance the overall Employee eXperience in terms of information sharing; support our Leadership in taking up their role as People Leaders
- Strengthen and activate our Communication & SoMe Ambassador communities

Your very concrete focus and contribution will lie in acting as **Spokesperson** for AXA Belgium towards press, official instances and other stakeholders, and in **leading** the below-mentioned **external communication** activities.

Concretely you will have the following responsibilities:

- Promote the image of AXA and protect our reputation, via **proactive press and public relations initiatives**
- Set up and actively maintain/entertain a **network** of press contacts and other important stakeholders
- Engage in active news hunting acting as an **internal journalist**, leveraging our newsroom governance and your internal network to gather most valuable brand, business, sustainability and employer realizations
- Organize **creative initiatives** (news articles, events, social media, ) to catch the attention of journalists and other target audiences (eg NGO’s, ) and promote our realizations
- Organize the **press and media watch** in order to capture any reputation risks, and react in the most appropriate way
- Act as **Spokesperson** for AXA Belgium towards press, official instances and all other stakeholders
- Support the **positioning of our CEO and Top Management** by organizing media appearances and speaking opportunities, defining talking points in line with our strategy, speech writing, providing audiovisual support,
- Measure success of our actions, and **drive outside-in innovation** in our way-of-working

For this, you’ll collaborate closely with Top Management, Business, Marketing, Distribution, HR and AXA Group colleagues, as well as all internal and external communication stakeholders, both through and beyond our official Newsroom governance.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

- You have a **proven track record** and **expertise** as a **spokesperson, **in **press & public relations** or as a **journalist, reputation & crisis management, and (internal/external) communication**. _Experience in (several of) following domains is an extra asset: social media, advertising, media planning, creative design, marketing, employer branding, conception and organization of (large corporate) events, _
