Rpg Developer

**Function**:
We're seeking a skilled RPG iSeries Developer to join our client's innovative IT team, dedicated to pushing boundaries in the retail industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, progressive environment and is eager to drive success in various IT projects.

As a key member of the development team, you will:

- Analyze and collaborate with other departments to translate business needs into technical implementations.
- Engage in the continuous search for technical innovations that can benefit the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed analyses in cooperation with stakeholder departments.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the IBM iSeries platform.
- Support and train end-users for optimum utilization of implemented solutions.
- Explore and integrate new technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.

**Ideal Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or minimum 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in RPG, Rdi, and DB2; knowledge of Webservices is an asset.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent initiative and hands-on capability with a focus on continuous improvement of business processes.
- Effective communication skills, fluency in English and Dutch, and the ability to work well in a team.
