**Verleg grenzen als coördinator clinical research unit voor kinderen (Petit-CRU)**:
De dienst kindergeneeskunde van UZ Leuven, samen met andere diensten betrokken bij de zorg voor zieke kinderen, heeft een belangrijke taak om nieuwe behandelingen voor de pediatrische patiëntengroep te ontwikkelen en te implementeren. Om deze taak op top internationaal niveau te kunnen vervullen werd er in het kinderziekenhuis van UZ Leuven een clinical research unit voor kinderen (Petit-CRU) geopend. Deze Unit zal faciliteiten bieden om door industrie gesponsorde en onderzoeker-gedreven klinische studies bij kinderen te verrichten, en dit volgens internationale “state of the art” richtlijnen. De coördinator van Petit-CRU maakt deel uit van het kernteam en speelt bij de organisatie van Petit-CRU een centrale rol.

**Het betreft een functie van onbepaalde duur aan 100%.**:
**Hoe verleg je grenzen?**:

- Je bent het eerste interne aanspreekpunt voor het Petit-CRU
- Je werkt samen in een team samengesteld uit artsen en studie-verpleegkundigen
- Je neemt een coördinerende en coachende rol op in het team van studie-verpleegkundigen
- Je behoudt overzicht en je werkt ideeën uit met oog op een efficiënte organisatie
- Je ontwikkelt procedures en protocollen voor het Petit-CRU
- Je legt contacten binnen én buiten het ziekenhuis in functie van de werking van het Petit-CRU
- Je onderhandelt met externe partners over de studies en je werkt hiervoor samen met het CTC binnen UZ Leuven
- Je bereidt alle overlegmomenten van het kernteam.

**Wat heb je daarvoor nodig?**:

- Je bent in het bezit van een bachelor
- of masterdiploma verpleegkunde en/of biomedische wetenschappen
- Je kan relevante werkervaring voorleggen op vlak van netwerking, projectmanagement en change management
- Je GCP (Good Clinical Practice) diploma, je ervaring in de (pediatrische) zorg en klinische studies vormen pluspunten
- Je beschikt over goede conceptuele vaardigheden
- Je formuleert zelfstandig initiatieven en je kan deze vlot vertalen naar concrete actieplannen
- Je legt vlot contacten waarbij je je communicatief, assertief en flexibel opstelt
- Je werkt constructief en doelgericht samen met collega’s en externe partners
- Je beschikt over projectmanagement
- en leidinggevende vaardigheden
- Je stelt op een vlotte manier verslagen en rapporten op
- Je werkt nauwkeurig en je hebt reeds kennis opgedaan van financieel management
- Je hebt een uitstekende taalkennis van het Engels
- Je hebt een goede kennis van MS Office en affiniteit met IT en communicatietools.
