**Your Function**

As a Legal Counsel at Martin's Hotels, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, providing essential legal support and guidance to the Executive Committee and various operational departments within the company.
- You will collaborate with the Executive Committee on projects involving real estate and corporate development. This includes tasks such as drafting contracts with investors, commercial or long-term leases, and management contracts, as well as conducting due diligences and supporting mergers and acquisitions.
- You will offer legal counsel to the management and operational departments on various legal matters, with a focus on commercial law, real estate law, company law, and contract law.
- You will prepare and review of commercial and real estate contracts, ensuring that they meet legal compliance standards and maintain accuracy.
- You will oversee litigation matters, including legal recovery and the negotiation of out-of-court settlements.
- You will efficiently manage the company's insurance portfolio, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with regulations.
- You will assist with administrative procedures related to the opening of new establishments within the organization.
- You will handle corporate governance tasks, including the drafting of minutes for board meetings, general meetings, mergers meetings, capital increases, and other relevant legal documents.
- You will report to the Chief Legal Officer.
- Your main workplace will be Genval, next to Overijse.

**Your Profile**
- You hold a Belgian Master’s degree in law.
- You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- You are fluent in both Dutch and French with a good level of English.
- You have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal complexities in a clear and understandable manner and to propose actionable solutions.
- An interest in and understanding of the non-legal aspects of projects, including technical, commercial, financial, and strategic aspects.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive and structured work style.
- A team player mentality, willing to share information and knowledge.
