As a Senior Bike Mechanic Lead you are the indispensable link within the coolest team in our operation. You are largely responsible for the quality of our city bikes and e-bikes. In addition, you ensure that we are never surprised with our stock amounts You make sure the team has a safe environment to work in and a fun atmosphere

**Your responsibilities**:

- You lead the coolest team within the Swapfiets, consisting of technicians, mechanics, and senior mechanics;
- You coordinate the daily tasks and organize team meetings in which you always manage to motivate your team.
- As a Senior Bike Mechanic Lead you also help with HR related processes such as recruitment, performance management, illness and leave;
- You are responsible for keeping our stock management up-to-date;
- You coordinate quality checks and the correct processing of data;
- You support new colleagues with the onboarding program and provide training;
- You ensure a safe working environment;
- We strive for a 100% recyclable bicycle. As a point of contact for the waste flows in the workshop, you play an important role in making us more sustainable.

**Your profile**:

- You are a certified bicycle mechanic / bicycle repairman, car mechanic (MBO), although experience and craftsmanship are more important to us;
- You have at least 3 years of work experience as a bicycle mechanic / bicycle mechanic, car mechanic, technician, operator;
- You have experience in providing training to bicycle mechanics;
- You are a good communicator and love motivating your team;
- You have affinity with bikes and service;
- You have an eye for detail and are a bit of a perfectionist;
- You can work independently but also as a part of the mechanics team;
- You are fluent in English and local language;
- There is no bike you can not fix
