About the role:
As a Claims Handler Intern at UBench, you will work closely with our experienced claims handling team, providing support in processing and managing insurance claims efficiently. This role offers hands-on experience in claims assessment, documentation, and communication with clients and insurers, while ensuring high standards of customer service. You’ll gain valuable insights into the claims management process, learning how to handle claims from start to finish, resolve issues, and enhance client satisfaction. This internship is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual ready to explore a career in claims handling.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing claims from start to finish, becoming a POC for clients after they experience an accident.
- Support the administrative processes, including documentation, filing claims, and maintaining records.
- Help track the status of claims and ensure clients are kept informed about their cases.
- Engage with clients to address their questions and provide helpful solutions, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Utilize our real-time digital platform to document all interactions and maintain transparency.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Insurance, or a related field).
- Eager to take up responsibilities and have an impact on the company.
- Effective communication skills in Dutch, French and/ or English.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Period of internship can be discussed.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
