Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical mentorship and supervision to developers
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and structured manner
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Proficiency in the following technologies:
- Java
- Angular
- Spring (Boot)
- PostgreSQL
- REST APIs
- Docker
- Git
- Solid understanding of RESTful API Design
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Good knowledge of English and/or French
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with JIRA, OAuth, OpenShift
- Knowledge of RDBMS & SQL, SOAP, JMS, Security (PKI)
