LEAD OFFICER DECARBONIZATION

Your responsibilities: *
- You execute and monitor AA timeline, projects, initiatives and opportunities;
- You initiate and/or review proposals for Circular Economy, CCUS, clinker/slag substitution projects with a technico-economical analysis, in order to prioritize a limited set of projects to be matured and eventually implemented; build on information from other country organizations as well as the Group expertise;
- You launch AA2040 decarbonization projects, together with our Bene Operational Entities and you guide them through the initial phases until and including a gradual take-over by implementation teams;
- You engage intensively with regulators and policy makers in Bene to create the right framework for economical feasible decarbonization implementations;
- You identify and collaborate with other industries and/or stakeholders sharing similar interests, to develop regulations/policies and infrastructure in a direction that supports HeidelbergCement Benelux specific needs, with a focal point to the emissions of the two clinker lines in Wallonia;
- You seize every opportunity to get subsidies for the AA2040 related projects: close monitoring of various possibilities, submission of files, build a related network.

The profile we are looking for: *
- You own a Master degree in Engineering;
- You are fluent in English, Dutch & French;
- You have some experience in the industry, with regulations, networking and lobbying;
- You easily create effective coalitions with various industrial & non-industrial stakeholders;
- You have the following skills: project management, strong strategic thinking to realize the long-term vision, high level of self-management, capability to manage and operate in very diverse teams in parallel;
- You are also capable of executing fit-for-purpose technical economical analysis (even with incomplete datasets).
