**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
Create, develop and coordinate a team of coordinators and logistic operators at the EDC who are responsible for picking, labeling, packing, and shipping of customer and intercompany orders.

These include activities that change the expected performance or touch the identity of a product. More specifically, the team leader production is responsible for leading a team carrying out activities in compliance with the existing QS procedures and according to all the applicable guidelines (including ISO 13485 - 14001): picking, labeling, programming, packing, shipping, loading, cycle count, cleaning, maintaining the warehouse, etc. All transactions and activities are updated in the related computer systems.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Organize a team of coordinators and logistic operators and their workload and make sure performance is kept to a high standard with a focus on accuracy, consistency of execution, and the customer. The workload involves:

- Prioritizing tasks and customer orders and delegating own tasks and tasks of the team.
- Planning personnel and monitoring holidays and other absences.
- Monitoring the team's performance (including KPIs).
- Performing goal setting and performance evaluations.
- Supporting and evaluating the training and development of the team members.
- Acting as a role model with regard to communication, customer orientation, accountability, flexibility, accuracy, and work ethics.
- Evaluating, improving, and implementing new and existing equipment, processes, and systems to increase productivity, customer satisfaction, or cost-efficiency without jeopardizing safety, quality, and compliance (continuous improvement).

**EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES**:

- Master/Bachelor in logistics or equivalent by experience
- Demonstrated skills as a people manager to build, coach, and develop employees (goal setting, performance evaluation, etc.)
- Good ability to plan and prioritize own work and the work of the team
- Proven experience in leading operations in a distribution or operational environment
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written) is necessary
- Experience with continuous improvement methods
- Strong team player to build relationships with colleagues in own and different departments
- Strong customer orientation
- Strong communications skills, oral and written
- A hands-on and optimistic attitude
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and quality minded
- Calmness under pressure, stress-resistant

**It is a plus if you have**:

- Detailed knowledge of a major ERP system (SAP and WM preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO13485 is a strong asset
