Het team Data Science situeert zich binnen de Unit ‘Business Integration’ binnen DG Rekrutering & Ontwikkeling van FOD BOSA (Simon Bolivarlaan 30, 1000 Brussel).

Data Science heeft als missie om data driven decisions te faciliteren op zowel strategisch als operationeel vlak. Dit betekent onderbouwd advies geven, tot nieuwe inzichten komen en voorstellen formuleren ter optimalisatie van de organisatiebeslissingen. Dit gebeurt op basis van goed databeheer (clean data, correcte data, ), monitoring van gegevens, (repliceerbare) analyses, consultering van experts,... en dit te verwerken in inhoudelijke kwalitatieve (geautomatiseerde) rapporten en scripts, verhelderd aan de hand van visualisaties op maat van de klant. Om deze doelstellingen te bereiken en om ons dynamisch team te versterken zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste collega die de brug kan zijn tussen het team Data Science en IT.

Het Directoraat-generaal Rekrutering en Ontwikkeling (FOD BOSA) zorgt voor de omkadering van federale medewerkers, vanaf de selectie en de rekrutering tot het einde van hun loopbaan. Daarnaast werkt dit directoraat-generaal de HR-regelgeving uit die van toepassing is op het federaal openbaar ambt en voert het administratieve controles uit. Het fungeert ook als expertisecentrum voor de aansturing en ondersteuning van operationele transformaties in de federale overheid.

**Taakomschrijving**
- Je helpt bij de uitbouw van het bestaande datawarehouse, je maakt hierbij gebruik van datalanding, datastore om historiek op te bouwen (Microsoft SSIS, )
- Je beheert de databasesystemen (voornamelijk SQL)
- Je bent in staat om datawarehouse oplossingen uit te werken
- Je bouwt datamodellen uitwerken en sterdiagrammen uittekenen
- Je geeft advies over de best practices in de opbouw van een datawarehouse
- Je stemt regelmatig af met het IT infrastructuurteam
- Je kan ondersteuning bieden bij de opmaak van rapporten (power BI, Microsoft SSRS, )
- Je zorgt voor de nodige documentatie om te delen met het team
- Je zorgt voor kennisoverdracht met het team en werkt nauw samen met het team
- Je biedt 2e lijns support om BI incidenten in rapportages op te lossen
- Je lost dataproblemen op
- Je draagt bij aan Data Management
- In overleg met de andere experts stel je innovatieve benaderingen voor
- Je ontwikkelt je vaardigheden en deelt ze met de andere experts in het team

**Profielomschrijving**
- Je hebt bij voorkeur een Master of Bachelor diploma in het domein IT
- Je beheerst de technische concepten van de opbouw van een datawarehouse
- Je hebt mínimaal 3 jaar ervaring in de opbouw van een datawarehouse en het opmaken van rapporten in Power BI
- Je hebt ervaring met Microsoft SSIS (SQL Service Integration Services) en met Biml (Business Intelligence Markup Language) om SSIS-pakketten te genereren
- Je kan ETL tools gebruiken
- Je kan API’s gebruiken en ontwikkelen
- Je hebt mínimale kennis van Git (versiebeheersysteem)
- Je hebt kennis van programmeertalen (zoals bv..Net, )
- Je bent in staat om problemen op te lossen en alternatieven voor te stellen
- Je werkt graag in teamverband, bent transparant en deelt je ideeën
- Je ontwikkelt je vaardigheden dagelijks en deelt deze met je teamleden
