For the Technology Centre of Excellence of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions in
Heverlee, Belgium we are looking for a Lab Technician for our corrosion coupon monitoring
activity.

Responsibilities:

- Daily processing of corrosion coupon samples per Standard Operational Procedures

guidelines
- Login, process, and record test results in LIMS database
- Meet established due dates for all work assigned
- Maintain the instruments in calibrated and working conditions and effectively

communicate on significant issues to the team leader
- Assist with development and improvement of procedures
- Perform other essential functions as assigned by the team leader to support the

Metallurgy and Membrane laboratory, including corrosion and membrane filtration
experiments on laboratory-scale systems, contributing to the overall effectiveness of
the group
- Contribute to the site safety efforts through adherence of policies and procedures

**Functie-eisen**

Position Requirements
- A2 or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (laboratory technology, chemistry) or

equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a lab environment
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail encompassing data entry
