Smappee is seeking an action driven, motivated Freelance Project Manager. In this role, you will become the core link between departments ensuring the successful delivery of our cutting-edge products from research phase to market launch. You will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams, setting timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring that every release exceeds expectations.
**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with R&D, product management, marketing, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards
Identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks to ensure smooth project delivery
Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership
Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
Drive innovation and process improvements to optimize project delivery and scalability
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to launch, preferably in a technology or hardware development environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks, while also identifying opportunities for innovation and growth
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment
PMP or similar certification is a plus
