**The company**

At Tipaw, we are on a mission to increase the well-being of animals by developing digital solutions that help (future) animal owners, their animal(s), and every animal professional. Initially, in response to identified dog-breeding abuse we have developed a platform liaising responsible dog breeders with people willing to buy a dog. We now aim to extend this platform to put our community of animal lovers in relationship with vets & groomers through a newly developed platform giving them the possibility to book an appointment online. Your job

The team is now looking for a highly motivated Web-Developer to jump on board and help to roll out the next phase of developing the Tipaw Platform. You will be responsible for keeping our platform running at full speed while also working on implementing new features and scaling it to new markets.

We're looking for somebody with experience & proficiency in Javascript, but most importantly someone that's eager to learn, and who's not afraid to dive into all aspects of the tech stack. You don't have to know everything right off the bat

Our techstack is javascript-everywhere, with a graphql api.
- Front-end: Javascript, Typescript, React with SSR, Apollo Client, CSS (Emotion).
- Back-end: Node, Express, Apollo Server, TypeGraphQL, Serverless, PostgreSQL.
- DevOps: AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Cloudfront
**Requirements**:

- Intimate knowledge of React, Javascript and Typescript
- Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus
- Experience with SSR, SEO and semantic HTML
- Experience with the AWS platform (S3, Lambda, Cloudfront,)
- Experience with Apollo Client and/or Graphql
- Experience with building scalable web apps
- An interest in UX and designing responsive UI
- An interest in code architecture and “clean” code
- You are up-to-date with the industry practices (agile, versioning, git and security)
- Fairly good command of English (both written and spoken)
