Junior Application Support

**General Scope of Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting Issues
- Work with a senior JD Edwards analyst to interact with business users to gather requirements and resolve issues
- Proactive communication about the status of assigned work and projects

**Duties**:

- Learn the Cognos Analytics reporting tool and develop reports
- Perform analysis functions as directed by other IT analysts / Leaders
- Submit recommendations to the IT Team regarding software improvements and tools needed to better perform the job, etc.
- Participate in and contribute to IT Team meetings and projects designed to improve the overall quality and efficiency of the IT Team.
- Make a concerted effort to fully understand all the intricacies and relationships between AstenJohnson's systems by working with a senior JDE analyst.
- Take on special projects as assigned.

**Position Requirements**:
**Education**:Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field (Accounting with a desire to get in IT)

**Experience**
- 1-2 Business experience
- Understand financial systems
