Virto Solar is a developer of powerful and advanced solar software for planning, designing, and engineering large-scale solar projects fast, efficiently, and accurately.

Our software is aimed at large-scale solar parks, both ground-based and on roofs. In addition to Virto.CAD and Virto.MAX, we also have a a web based framework for building customized web apps for mounting system manufacturers and wholesale.

**_Role description_**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development to join our team in Geel, Belgium.

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of software solutions for our cutting-edge solar energy products.

Fluency in both English and French is essential for effective communication within our diverse, multinational team.

**_Key responsabilities_**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and roadmap for software development projects.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, prioritize features, and maintain a well-defined product backlog.
- Work closely with development teams, providing guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software within the agreed timelines.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities, keeping the product competitive and innovative.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand needs, and incorporate user insights into the development process.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Regularly review and assess the progress of development projects, adapting plans as necessary to meet changing priorities.

**_Requirements_**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner in software development.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver successful software projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
