The Sourcing Coordinator supports the Global Sourcing and Alliance Management (GloSAM) team by ensuring compliant and inspection ready documentation, smooth contract execution flow, and seamless data availability and information flow to internal and external customers.

The position reports into the Franchise Sourcing Lead.

We want to fill this position in **Ghent, Belgium **as it will require frequent presence in the office.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to file, redact and document all department contracts in the company’s contract management system and appropriate repositories to comply with GCP requirements and to be Inspection Ready at all times; Ongoing process review and optimization.
- Process contract requests through to contract finalization, execution, redaction and filing
- Facilitate the company’s compliant contracts signature process, mainly via an electronic signature process.
- Work with the Sourcing Managers to support during any internal or external audits and Inspections
- In conjunction with the sourcing managers, serve as a key point of contact for employees to provide information on contract status and provide guidance
- With appropriate supervision and support from the Sourcing Managers, prepare and finalise simple standard agreements using argenx’s approved agreement templates (such as confidentiality, consulting agreements; and potentially project specific contracts e.g. meeting, translation vendors).
- Maintain and update regularly the relevant trackers and systems and assist from time to time in due diligence activities, as appropriate
- In conjunction with the sourcing managers may be required to collate KPIs for designated contract areas
- Provide support to the GLOSAM team with specific projects as needed e.g. assist with developing sourcing or site agreement training sessions, development of surveys, etc
- Participate in special/ad-hoc projects initiatives as needed as per the company OGSMs

During all stages of activities, interact with internal customers, legal and finance departments and other functions as appropriate.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- At least 5 years of work experience as a contract administrator, paralegal or equivalent position in a corporate environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology and/or healthcare industry;
- Familiarity with basic legal and financial terminology would be advantageous
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information using excellent discretion and judgment;
- Excellent administrative and organization skills, attention to detail & accuracy;
- Understanding of GCP would be beneficial
- Ability to manage detailed assignments autonomously, and to assess independently what issues to escalate for higher level review;
- Must be able to relate effectively to people at all levels of the organization
- Consistently shows initiative, and willing to work within a team to assess and improve processes;
- Shows flexibility and is open to change in a growing, multi-cultural environment
- Fluent in English, additional languages advantageous.
- Educated in a scientific, economic, or legal discipline, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of work experience as a contract administrator, paralegal or equivalent position in a corporate environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology and/or healthcare industry;
- Experience working with clinical research organizations and other clinical study vendors
