The Brussels, Belgium facility is Catalent’s flagship European syringe filling facility. With more than 70 years of drug product manufacturing experience in biologics and sterile injectables, Catalent Brussels’ has one of the largest syringe filling capacities in Europe at over 175 million units annually.
To support the Finance team, reporting to the FP&A manager, we are now recruiting a** Financial Analyst.**
**The Role**
- As Financial Analyst you will report to the FP&A Manager and work in close collaboration with the accounting team (3 FTEs)
- Participate in the monthly closing process and analyze the results of the site.
- Prepare financial reporting packages and upload figures to OneStream.
- Participate in the Budget / Rolling Forecast / weekly sales flash Processes
- Act as a business partner with cost center owners.
- Review and challenge costs and headcounts with them.
- Maintain the forecast accurate.
- Follow closely the production process of the site: he reviews and analyzes manufacturing variances including scrap and ensures revenues are recorded and invoiced timely. He holds the responsibility for accurate inventory valuation and related monthly bookings.
- The financial analyst builds business case for new investments and is responsible to follow the CAPEX cycle (annual budget, new projects approval, CIP follow-up, reconciliations,.).
- Take part in the annual standard cost roll-up and analyze the margin of current and future products.
- Maintain a strong internal controls environment to comply with the Sarbanes Oxley Act and to safeguard company's assets.
- Support the coordination & implementation of Group's Finance policies & procedures.
- Participate actively to an ERP deployment.
- Master's degree in finance.
- Min 2 years experience, preferred in industry
- Experience in **audit** is an asset
- Strong knowledge of local Belgian** GAAP, and US GAAP**
- IT mindset
- Fluent in English and French. Dutch is an asset
- Dynamic, proactive, autonomous, stress resistant, solution and results oriented.
