We are experiencing continued growth in our fast pacing, fast growing Fashion wholesaler and retailer. Do you want to join this journey and become a strategic business partner contributing to this growth? Leading the Finance & Operation Function for the Belgium and Luxembourg market and reporting directly to the Head of Finance West Europe, your position is crucial to the operations and strategy of our business.
**YOUR TEAM**
You will be responsible for the growth and development of your team (8 headcounts) of finance specialists, credit controllers and team operations (Facility, car fleet health and safety and contract management). You will gain quickly a network by working in close cooperation with our international Finance team and local management.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITY**
As the Finance Business Partner you will drive the strategic direction for our Belgium and Luxembourg markets. The role requires to be the key business partner to our internal & external stakeholders, creating space for out of the box thinking and thoughtful analysis to drive your function for the future.
- Actively contribute to the business unit’s plan as an equal partner and a critical member of the Belgium management team, to ensure strategic alignment with core functions including Logistics, Sales and Retail.
- Push the Global Finance agenda into the future, seeking sustainable, competitive advantage, in order to develop a world class finance function.
- Be a key contact with customers and suppliers, performing profitability analysis and negotiating new contracts with Wholesale customers, intercompany agreements and retail stakeholders.
- For the Operational part of your function you will take your team to the next level on Fleet and Facility management.
- Take ownership for growing your team through coaching and setting clear expectations.
- Become a key partner to Group functions such as Insurance, Legal, Business Development and Finance.
- Be the connection between the reporting responsible unit and the BELUX management team, providing insight on financial results to improve performance.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasting and monitoring performance against these targets.
**YOUR PROFILE**
As the Finance Business Partner BELUX you are commercially minded, excellent at building relationships across the business and motivated to see results. You have a proven experience in business partnering, and successfully leading and developing a team. You have a background in Finance. You appreciate a flat hierarchy where each individual has the freedom with responsibility. You are proactive and quickly adapts to changes. You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.
