Als Accounting & Tax Lead zal je een coördinerende fiscale rol opnemen en een belangrijke link hebben met ons Shared Service Center in Polen. In deze rol ben je teamlead voor de tax analyst en het order-to-cash team, bestaande uit 4 personen.

**Wat is de job?**:
In deze functie rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Finance Manager van Alken-Maes. Een breed en gevarieerd takkenpakket wacht op jou. Zo zal je de pet opzetten van:
**Kwaliteitbewaker**
Jij bent de persoon die de fiscale wetgeving niet uit het oog verliest. Is er een verandering op til, dan zorg jij dat het Shared Service Center hiervan op de hoogte is. Je bent daarnaast ook de expert die de maandelijkse fiscale aangiften controleert (de opmaak gebeurt door het Shared Service Center) en indient.

Nieuwe Alken-Maes processen rol jij met gemak uit: je betrekt de juiste stakeholders, zorgt voor een efficiënt en duidelijk proces waardoor alle departementen helemaal mee zijn.

**Tax audit specialist**
Je kijkt maandelijkse reconciliaties op taks-gerelateerde rekeningen na en volgt bovendien ook tax controls op - deze zijn ad hoc en dus niet aangekondigd. Dat schrikt je uiteraard niet af

**Relatiebeheerder**
Je behartigt alle relaties tussen Alken-Maes en de overheid. It’s a match made in heaven Daarnaast ben je als teamlead ook de ideale people manager die het beste uit iedereen haalt.

**Strateeg**
In samenwerking met het Shared Service center bouw je een performante organisatie
- en processtructuur uit voor het volledige invorderingstraject. Je zoekt continu naar manieren om de processen te verbeteren, bv de maandelijkse rapportering (DSO, bad debt,).

**Helper in nood**
Onze collega’s vinden gemakkelijk hun weg naar jou met vragen of problemen. Jij helpt hen met plezier en staat hen bij dankzij jouw opgebouwde kennis en ervaring zodat zij met een goed gevoel weer verder kunnen.

**Wie ben jij?**:

- Je behaalde een Bachelor
- of masterdiploma in een relevant vakgebied
- Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring in fiscale wetgeving, procesbeheer en crediteurenbeheer
- Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en stakeholdermanagement
- Je hebt een analytisch denkvermogen en probleemoplossend vermogen
- Ervaring met het opstellen en implementeren van credit control strategieën is een pluspunt
- Je hebt een eerste leidinggevende ervaring achter de rug
- Ervaring in het samenwerken met een Shared Service Center is een plus
