For our intervention center in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (see the map here) we’re looking for a Inline Inspection & Intervention Manager (M/F/x).

**Your**
**responsibilities**:
- You organise the planning and execution of planned and unplanned interventions on the Gas Grid network. You ensure the measurement and assessment of calamities. You ensure the drafting of assessment reports and take the resulting appropriate measures. You do this in order to maximise the Grid availability and to protect the safety of Fluxys installations and the people; doing so at a defined technical and economic level
- You organise the planning and execution of inline inspections and support to the Grid Zones. You coordinate the testing of valves, the drafting of circuit diagrams and the manipulations of valves during pigging operations in order to detect possible flaws in the network and take the appropriate actions to ensure the integrity of the Gas Grid
- You manage the welding-technical aspects within Fluxys and follow up (and comment on) the national and international standards and participate in workgroups. You ensure the maintenance of welding procedures and check the welding method descriptions proposed by third party contractors. All in order to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements and meet the quality requirements set by Fluxys
- You ensure the executions of the necessary interventions in case of crisis or to prevent a disaster to ensure that the Grid can be resored 24/7
- You ensure knowledge management, maintain and monitor safety procedures and help ensure the retention of the VCA/SCC certification for safety and ISO 9001. You do this for quality reasons to guarantee the safety of the personnel, the Grid during execution of work and the safety, integrity and quality of the Grid and its installations at all times
- You lead the Inline Inspection and Intervention team(s) and engage, coach and provide guidance. You consult with and ensure coordination between the various units and ensure effective management of the personnel, financial and technical resources. You make sure to reach the team objectives and inspire and develop talents
- You proactively work on the continuous improvement of the working procedures and environment, develop best practices and other improvement proposals with a transversal view and facilitate change by focusing on organizational effectiveness. To optimise the existing processes, services and products and to enable colleagues to succeed as they go through change

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master degree, preferably in industrial engineering or as welding engineer
- Experience in leading a team
- Eagerness to learn f.e. the international welding engineer certification is a must
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good language skills (NL/FR/UK) mandatory
