Within the France-Benelux Finance department, and reporting to the Benelux General Manager, you will **lead the Finance team**, will be in charge of controlling, reporting and forecasting, and will oversee the statutory and accounting responsibility.
The role is covering Belgium and Netherlands scope, with two P&L entities and teams located in both countries.
Benelux is part of the France-Benelux cluster so you will work in close collaboration with the France finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
**1- Finance Business Partnering**
- Be part of the Benelux Management Team and as such, provide input on the business strategy, and lead and/or participate to strategic projects to grow the business.
- Be the point of contact for the Benelux teams implementing the business initiatives, as well as for any other teams (i.e. EU, GSC, GBS) within the whole organization
- Perform and share analysis: prepare KPI’s, track key performance measures for the different divisions and product groups, set up indicator’s improvement plans
- Raise the financial awareness and understanding within the Benelux team, and cultivate a ROI strong culture.

**2- Finance Controlling**
- Undertake controlling of all revenue (sales, back margin) and cost segments (COGS, FRDC, Brand Support, OPEX, Others) reported in the P&L in collaboration with local teams, including dedicated analysis with teams, coordination of process, creation and update of tools to allow proper management decisions.
- Supervise and contribute to the monthly management reporting to France/EU, to be delivered in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate and contribute to the production of Rolling Forecasts with full P&L and Cash indicators, and analyze variances against forecast, suggesting adequate corrective actions where needed
- Be the leader of continuous Finance area process improvements
- Lead and/or support local projects
- Provide Ad Hoc Financial analysis

**3- Statutory and Accounting**
- Lead local statutory finance requirements (i.e. Financial Statements and any other activities such as VAT, Intrastat ) in coordination with HQ support and/or External Provider
- Be the main contact for internal and external auditors as well as for any Tax Inspection activity in coordination with HQ support and procedures
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls, policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines and be proactive in identifying any company risk that could impact P&L, BS or Cash Flow of the company.
- Cash management: Make sure that all payments are carried out on-time and accurately and collaborate with Customer Service/GBS on KPIs indicators and potential corrective actions
- Control the accuracy of declaration made by the Benelux team-members (expenses, holidays...)
- Oversee the Payroll & Administration management, optimize current process and recommend any required changes in terms of policy or benefits guidelines.

**4- Team Management**
- Daily manage 2 permanent team members: 1 Sales Analyst & 1 Accounting & Statutory Reporting Manager,
- Coach, train and develop team members

**Qualifications**
- Accounting/Finance Master’s degree is required (with good knowledge of the local taxes, VAT and general accounting practices)
- At least 8 years of experience including a FMCG experience
- Fluent in Dutch and French (one of the two being native is a plus) + English professional level
- Strong in Excel ; knowledge of JDE or other ERP Systems would be a plus
- Attention to detail, rigorous and meticulous
- Logical and analytical skills
- Autonomous, well-organized, ability to work on multiple priorities
- Proven communication skills - ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A first management experience is a plus.
