- Our partner is looking for a passionate Material Planner (M/F/X) who will be able to meet the various challenges linked to the international purchasing of finished products and raw materials, while ensuring effective reporting to the head office in the United States._
**Function**
As a Material Planner, you will play a crucial role both with our suppliers and in the management of stocks, as well as in the analysis of certain data.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of your various tasks:
1. Maintaining relationships with **suppliers** as business partners:
- Collaborating with them for orders and the delivery of materials and components;
- Monitoring their performance, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving any issues;
- Communicating with them to adapt to changing needs and contribute to improving their performance.
2. **Stock** management:
- Analyzing stock levels and forecasts to avoid shortages or excesses;
- Conducting regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and coordinating with internal stakeholders;
- Identifying slow-moving or obsolete stocks to reduce costs.
3. **Analysis** of needs and data:
- Examining purchasing and stock data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks;
- Preparing regular reports on supplier KPIs and stock levels;
- Providing recommendations to improve processes and reduce costs based on data analysis.
**Profile**
What if this opportunity was for you?
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or equivalent field is your academic background;
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a Material Planner role or a similar position in procurement and planning;
- You possess a strong command of English and French, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level);
- You have a solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control;
- You have good knowledge of ERP systems (Mercator or other equivalent software);
- You demonstrate excellent proficiency in Excel;
- An analytical mindset and experience in reporting are part of your skills;
- You are solution-oriented and enjoy working in a team for continuous improvement;
- Organized and meticulous, time management holds no secrets for you.
