**Mission**

You will cooperate with a flexible development team consisting of colleagues in Belgium and abroad, which means that good communication skills are essential. Our technical/development environment is based on programming languages (C, Java, Python, Shell), OSes (Linux, Android), tools (compilers, debuggers, source management, code review, continuous integration ), and so on. A very strong interest in a high technical development environment is must for this function. Shortly, you are quick to get to grips with new technologies and you have an innovative attitude.

As **Embedded**Development Engineer, **you will be part of the team responsible of the development and validation of the platform on the new payment terminals based on Android system. It requires technical knowledges in following domains (mandatory):

- Strong knowledge of C programming language (embedded system focus, toolchain)
- Good knowledge of Java and Python programming language
- Use of Linux OS for day to day activities and development
- Source code management tool (e.g. Git)
- Use of IDE (e.g. Android studio)

Knowledge in below topics is a big advantage:
