**What you do**
Processes
- Develop a global SoMe strategy across all social channels and digital touchpoints
- Define short
- and long-term KPIs for social media advertising (paid and organic) and develop campaign reporting schedules
- Collaborate with product and brand experts (both internally and externally) to plan and implement an effective social media strategy
- Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the contracting authority's brand and report back to internal stakeholders
Data
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting, analysis and insights around social behaviour, social advertising opportunities and social campaign performance
- Gather, analyze, and interpret social data, using the analytics tools providing (with a focus on uncovering actionable insights that will optimize the social media strategy
- Analyze key trends in relevant content and activity
Operations
- Setup, implement and optimize social media advertising campaigns
- Closely collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement social media measurement strategies across social media platforms
- Create daily content involving multiple departments and builds and maintains a distribution network on various social media sites
- Interact with users of social media platforms to respond to their questions and suggestions in line with corporate objectives and priorities
**Who you are**
You understand the value of social media and how carefully you need to design a strategy and action plan when communicating through them. You are passionate, any new platform, anything you read online triggers your creativity and makes you question the status-quo. Sky is the limit and making a difference is your trademark. Not in a dreamy and erratic fashion but more in an unexpected yet carefully design and smart way.
You see the big picture for a company and understand how to articulate this within a team and a department. No need to know everything but to understand how this fits within a digital environment and who you can contact to help you along the way. You are someone who understands your actions need to be pragmatic, backed by results and can provide accurate and relevant analytics and reportings to business teams to prove your efficacy.
You want to have an impact and understand the importance of collaboration. Your are not a one-man/woman band but love brainstorming with colleagues, involving new people when necessary and building bridges between teams and departments. You thrive in fast-paced environments and no matter the pressure, you can keep your eye on the prize and on what you want to achieve.
**Some of your talents**
- Successful experiences in digital marketing, including previous experience in driving and executing digital media strategy in a global, multi-brand, multi-channel, fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in managing social media content, campaigns and strategies for companies
- Passionate and sound understanding of all major social media platforms and up to date with new and upcoming trends
- Experience with professional tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite or similar relevant ones
- Familiar with the media landscape in Belgium (Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia) both offline and online
- Structure, result-oriented and pragmatic, also in your creativity and ideas
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and not in favour of rigid vertical structures
- Great communication and presentation skills with colleagues, partners and stakeholders
- Ideally French and Dutch speaking, also comfortable with English
