- **Workshop Technician **to join our team**Context of the role**:
We are looking for a person who is eager to learn, flexible, accurate, a team player and who has high attention to safety.
- The workshop technician will work In the Air Products garage with the newest technologies of industrial gases: liquid hydrogen, hydrogen for mobility, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, carbonic acid and liquid oxygen against the highest safety standards.
- The fleet is based in the Gent / Belgium area.
- We have more than 100 trailers, containers and chassis in service.
- The fleet maintenance team has 5 technicians /engineers.**As our Workshop Technician, your main responsibilities are**:
- The technical state of the fleet (mainly liquid nitrogen, nitrogen, argon, carbonic acid)
- The repairs and maintenance of the fleet
- The workshop
- The operational deploy ability of the fleet
The work will consist of:
- Cryogenic maintenance and repair of the fleet
- High pressure maintenance and repair of the fleet
- Changing pumps
- Changing valves
- Diagnosing faults
- Mechanical repairs
- Overhauling vehicles
- Troubleshooting
**Your profile**:
- Knowledge of cryogenics
- Knowledge of process technology
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of hydrogen
- Knowledge of electrical circuits
- MBO 4
- Relevant work experience
- Driving license B
- Technical education
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written English
