Overview

Job Description Summary - Analyst - Event Management, Communications

The Marketing and Communications team is focused on driving programs and activities that build, support and defend Mastercard’s reputation among key internal and external audiences. The broader team has been designed to closely mirror the business and support the company’s efforts in delivering world-class payments experiences.

The team’s mission is to drive business performance and a world-class culture through communication that inspires, engages, educates, and connects Mastercard employees, customers, partners and shareholders. We are customer-centric, data-driven and creative-minded.

The role will work closely with partners in markets and across multiple business units.

Summary of the role

Pro-actively and independently manage the organization of events across Europe that are handled by the Marketing and Communications team. This includes events held regularly including Europe Advisory Board meetings (three times a year), key business summits, and all Central Marketing and Communications events linked to our sponsorship assets (around 4/5 times a year)

Role:

- Overall planning of the events (proposal of dates, venues, agenda) managing the internal and external communication
- Manage all the branding aspect linked to this events and coordinate the event with Corporate Meeting Services and with external marketing/communication agency
- Financial management of a yearly budget dedicated to these events
- Co-ordination with legal dept for all contracts
- Follow-up on queries from Advisory Board, Summit and any other event members
- On the spot support to Advisory Board/Summit/Sponsorship events members as well as to Executive Management team
- Maintaining and communicating Board/Summit/Sponsorship events member list

Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders
- English (fluent), French (fluent)
- Developed financial skills
- 5 to 7 years experiences in managing this kind of events
- Graduate
