**SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION**
In the SAP Services Sales business for EMEA N, we are establishing the Services Deal Desk unit to assist our front-line Sale team to execute sales agreements with our customers. The growing team consists of in-country specialists with focus on deal and contract creation.
The Services Deals Desk provides support to the sales teams in the wider Deal Execution process in the three main areas with the following tasks:
**Services Deal Manager**
- Triaging requests to validate support levels
- Liaising with requestors to gather the minimum information required to process a deal
- Setting up a deal and quote in the SAP Harmony deal system
- Initiating approval requests for quotes in the Harmony System
- Liaise with Service Delivery, Revenue Recognition, Legal, and Business Approvers to facilitate approvals where needed
- Liaising with resource management team to identify potential resources for the deal
- Submitting the order form to the customer or opportunity owner for signature
**Contract Specialist**
- Become an expert in the Services contracting process for all revenue types, able to advise internal customers as required
- Completing contracts using state of the art automation for most cases
- Create with support of other specialists larger customer specific contracts
- Understand Services contracts to be able to advise Sales on any potential issues in the review and approval process, ensuring correct templates etc. are always used
- Support change activities to enable a best run Deal Execution process in the UK
**Projects**
- Drive projects to further automation and standardisation to speed up the process of contract creation
- Work with local, regional and global peers to create a great customer experience for our internal and external stakeholders
- Work with peers to establish efficient cross-country support measures
**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Personal Organisation - This requires team members to manage many deals at a given time, in different stages of processing, all of which need to be managed in unison. unorganised people will not succeed in this role.
- Good knowledge of general corporate business practices and commercial contracting regulations and principles;
- An ability to quickly identify risks and issues and suggesting alternatives that lead to the best solution and escalating matters within the business where necessary;
- An ability to work well and remain calm under pressure which will include managing multiple contracts at any one time, meeting tight timelines especially at month and quarter end and having to participate in unscheduled meetings;
- An ability to clearly explain outstanding deal or contractual issues to the Account Executive and ensure there are no conflicting messages being provided to the Customer;
- An ability to own and manage a problem to ensure that it is resolved or concluded as quickly as possible;
- An ability to follow internal processes to ensure that appropriate approvals have been obtained and recorded;
- Excellent oral and written skills;
- Dutch, French and good command of English needed.
**Experience required**
- Experience of working on similar matters to those detailed in this Role Profile;
- Experience of working directly with a sales or background in operation
- Experience in sales support activities preferred
- Experience with Harmony, CMS, DocuSign preferred
