Who is IZABO
A few years ago I took a summer course at Central Saint Martins. With no expectations I had the best week and went home knowing what was important to me. I knew if I was going to be able to to give power the things that could expand my creativity, I was going to live a happy, exciting, dynamic life.
As far as my designing goes, I just let the hormones take the lead and try to create something with a touch of ferocity. Nuances of non-verbal behavior, posture and gesture are sometimes more powerful than words and so I try to make jewelry to enhance that power. I want to make people feel liberated by wearing organic, flowy, funky, bold, but yet passionate and intriguing jewelry, because liberation is knowing that you can navigate the world freely in your own confident way. Often I think my pieces are imperfect, kind of like flaws and we need to give strength to our flaws and don’t let ignorance affect the way we go about life.
The main goal is to refuse to adhere to a fixed identity. Don’t create a constructed one just as a tool of resistance against voices of quick-witted, acid-tongued criticism. Just go with it, it’s okay to go with no plan, to go with not sure. I want people to feel awesomely unpredictable.
I want my jewelry to be exactly like the kind of people I love the most; people who can show emotion. It can be any kind of emotion.
I started my brand in a time where i didnt see any typical content around me; covid. Everyting became a moodboard of nostalgia and chagrin. Lockdown was about confinement, depriviation and horniness. I was horrified of this crisis and by the covid era social media landscape but also of the state of human intimacy in general. During this uncertain times, I worked on starting my own brand.
I want to develop a connection that speaks freedom.
Production Manager (Goldsmith / Silversmith)

**Position**: Master Goldsmith/Silversmith, Jewelry Production Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Artisan Mastery: Utilize your expert skills in soldering, sanding, polishing, resizing, and the lost wax carving technique to create our unique and handmade jewelry pieces.
- Production Leadership: Take charge of the entire jewelry production process, from receiving orders to checking gemstone inventory, and managing the process until each piece is beautifully finished.
- Supplier Collaboration: Build strong relationships with our suppliers in the Antwerp Diamond District, ensuring seamless material sourcing and fostering a culture of trust and excellence.
- Efficiency & Growth: Streamline our production processes for super efficiency, enabling us to meet growing demands while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Inspire and collaborate with our talented team, nurturing their growth, and fostering a harmonious and hardworking work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a skilled goldsmith/silversmith, with mastery in soldering, sanding, polishing, resizing, and the lost wax carving technique.
- Organizational and managerial skills, with the ability to lead a production (team) efficiently and strategically.
- Passion for our brand's designs and a genuine belief in our artistic talent.
- Willingness to get hands-on and dive into the creative process alongside the team.
- Hardworking, passionate, and dedicated to achieving excellence in every piece.
