Fixed Assets Analyst

VF Europe is looking for a Fixed Asset Analyst to join our Fixed asset team based in Antwerp, Belgium.

Let’s Talk about the Role

As Fixed Asset Analyst, you are responsible for all fixed assets related daily and monthly accounting tasks. In this role, you're keeping the fixed asset register up to date and prepare the monthly reports and reconciliations. You ensure a timely monthly closing and together with the team you are the contact persons for all fixed assets rela ted questions in the organization.

In addition, you will participate in the review of the current fixed asset process and will be looking for process improvements.

You will work closely with other accounting teams, both within EMEA as abroad.

In this role you will be reporting to the Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Keeping the Fixed asset register up-to-date

Maintain the project database

Prepare monthly reports

Prepare monthly Reconciliations

Participate in ad hoc projects

**Skills for Success**:
Bachelor degree or similar studies in Accounting/Finance area

Interest in operational accounting processes and systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Detail-oriented, with a Pro-Active Mindset

Good analytical/numerical skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Team player with problem solving abilities and strong organizational skills

Knowledge of SAP is an asset

Fluent English is a must (both written and spoken), Dutch is an asset
