The work will mainly focus in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, medical technology and material science, for both domestic and international clients.

Examples of work tasks are:

- Patentability analysis, based on prior art documents, search reports, etc.;
- Responding to examination reports;

Depending on your experience, an intensive coaching and training path will be provided, aiming at succeeding for the European Qualifying Examination for patent attorneys.

You will be part of the patent team in Brussels. The position is full-time and the location can be hybrid, alternating between the Brussels office in Tour & Taxis and home.

**Algemene vereisten**:
You have excellent drafting skills, able to draft clear and comprehensive reports. You have an analytic mind and are able to process and correctly reproduce large amounts of information in a structured fashion.

You are fluent in English and Dutch, with desirable knowledge of French and/or German.

To thrive in the role, you should be meticulous, systematic and punctual in your work. You should be well-organised to easily keep track of a large number of deadlines, able to prioritize correctly and allocate resources efficiently. You are proactive, eager to learn, being result-oriented with a good sense of identifying and taking advantage of business opportunities. You are furthermore able to readily understand and follow instructions. Since you will be working together with colleagues and clients you also appreciate effective and clear communication, with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
