As our new Sr Manager, Plant Operations, you will be at the helm of our Belgium production operations, overseeing various aspects to ensure our facility operates efficiently and effectively.

Your mission is to ensure that your organization (from Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance, to Warehouse and Logistics) is safely delivering products and equipment on time, on quality at the expected cost.

Your responsibilities will include:
- QHSE: Promote culture of safety and ensure compliance with HSE rules & procedures. Ensure products meet quality standards and ISO certification is maintained by adhering to QHSE requirements- Operations Leadership: Develop and implement operational business plans and strategies that align with our short
- and long-term objectives, driving the organization towards success- Lean Manufacturing: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plan, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Support programs and initiatives to boost efficiency and ensure adherence of the team- Process optimization: Identify and drive process improvement opportunities, making data-driven decisions to enhance operational efficiency- Team Development: Select, motivate, and develop employees to create a highly qualified and efficient team that meets our company objectives and customer needs- Site Leadership: Act as the site leader, embracing various responsibilities, including representation, communication, HSE leadership, hosting, office management, and adherence to the TDW Way of Working- Financial Stewardship: Manage the annual budget and monitor capital expenditures to maximize ROI, ensuring cost-effective operations- Social Relations: Foster positive social relations at all levels of the plant, lead monthly safety and work council meetings, and represent the site in social relations- Innovation: Explore new opportunities for digitalization, machinery optimization, and other initiatives to enhance operational excellence, reduce costs, and lead time- Collaboration: Work within a complex matrix organization, collaborating with various functions to represent the Nívelles site and ensure seamless operations.- You hold a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, backed by a minimum of 7 years' experience, including senior management roles in manufacturing and/or supply chain- You demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills- You have a keen business sense that guides your decisions and actions- You possess a good ability to rally and unite teams around a common vision and shared goals- You are able to navigate in a changing environment and you consistently focus on the right priorities- You have sound judgment and making strong and timely decision is your strength- You have a proven experience dealing with unions (CPPT, CE, DS)- You possess a strong background in continuous improvement process tools- You are an excellent communicator, both in French and in English
