**Junior Business Controller - Tadaam, Digital & Data**
We are looking for a junior Business Controller - Tadaam, Digital & Data who will become an indispensable resource to support the Commercial teams with financial insights & acumen, to help management in steering the business in a better way and contribute to the overall company performance.
Tadaam is an alternative Internet & TV solution providing connectivity to our customers via wireless technology. As Tadaam Controller, you will be responsible for the end to end reporting & financial support of our Tadaam business unit.
In addition, you will also support the Digital engagement tribe and Data acceleration tribe in monitoring their investment and improvement initiatives and their impact on the financial results.
You will make analyses and create insights to support the business and in their daily operations and decision making. This includes:
- Contribute to the monthly financial close
- analyses of KPIs /OKRs
- product and business analyses
- budgeting and forecast updates
You will work under the direction of the Lead Controller - Commercial Residential & Soho Circle and also supports the Strategy & Porfolio team.
The information and advice made available by the Business controllers are used by the SLT (Telenet management team) and the various department heads to make strategic decisions regarding market, product and segment orientations, as well as productivity & process improvements.
Concretely, this translates into the following tasks:
- Ensuring the correct content of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the business
- Monthly closing and control of expenses and revenues: Ensure that the accounting department has timely, accurate and complete information on the areas of activity of the department he/she controls
- Supervise compliance with purchasing, ordering, (financial) procedures,.
- Preparing the analysis of the department's revenues and expenses, to advise the budget owners to maximize the efficiency of its operations and processes and optimize cash flow
- A point of contact for Project Managers for questions related to actuals and administrative tracking of the various projects
- Preparing spreadsheet model for specific analyses
- Calculating KPIs for review and input Doing operational tasks during month-end and forecast process

**Your profile**
- You have a Master's degree in an economics or engineering discipline complemented by a finance degree or equivalent through experience
- You have min. 2 years of professional experience, preferably in a controller position or operational internal audit
- You are operationally oriented with a strong financial baggage and a pronounced multidisciplinary interest (sales, marketing, finance, operations)
- You have good synthetic and analytical skills
- You have knowledge of Dutch and English
- You have an affinity for financial systems (accounting, reporting)
- You have a strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- A hands-on mentality is your trademark
- You are a team player
- You enjoy work in a fast-changing business environment You are discreet and flexible and do not shy away from the more routine tasks (accruals, purchase order follow-up, use of correct booking codes,...).
