**Position Overview**
**Major Responsibilities**
- Creating, managing and maintaining the Master Production Schedule, focusing on the mid-term horizon
- Aligning the MPS with the production plan that is approved in the Sales and Operations Planning cycle
- Participating in and preparing alignment meetings regarding the MPS with our collaboration partner
- Leading the Rough-Cut-Capacity-Planning process to verify that the MPS is valid
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing operations, MS&T, maintenance & engineering, QA and other relevant departments to ensure effective coordination of production plans
- Within the supply chain team, closely collaborate with the production scheduling team & material planning team to ensure smooth execution of the MPS
- Monitor production performance/adherence and identify any deviations from the production plan, taking corrective action as needed
- Continuously improve production processes and methods to increase efficiency
**Qualification**
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Engineering, or related field
**Experience**:
- First experience (2 years) in production planning and/or scheduling is required, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
**Capabilities, Knowledge, and skills**:
- Knowledge of supply chain principles (materials management, demand & supply planning, production planning & scheduling etc.), pharmaceutical operations, and industry practices
- Clear and succinct verbal and written communication skills with an attention to details
- Ability to work independently and successfully, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, integrate cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities effectively
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly adopt new systems and processes
- Experience with production planning software and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Business Intelligence software to create and maintain dashboards
