What You Will Achieve
Through the implementation of a Lean Production System you will install the “One Best Way” of working throughout Pfizer Global Supply (PGS), focusing both vertically (on departments) and horizontally (Door-2-Door across departments). Vertical focus is better known as IMEx - Integrated Manufacturing Excellence, while horizontal focus is iFlow - Intelligent Flow. Deployment of both perspectives will be resulting in enhanced supply reliability, increased capacity, and agility to meet customer demands while improving quality performance and competitive costs. This role will primarily focus on iFlow and your knowledge and skills will be utilized in an innovative environment to ensure reliable customer supply and achieve PGS business objectives.
- This role is responsible for leading iFlow deployments at Site, including workstream Material Supply Excellence (MSE) and Design for Flow (D4F), helping to build capabilities across teams on iFlow (MSE and D4F), initiating related Continuous Improvements (CI) Initiatives at respective T3-T1 for effectiveness and efficiency towards designed / agreed performance, and monitoring and measuring success of entire initiatives.
- This role will develop site colleague capabilities with Global support, helping them understand the IMEx approach, iFlow (MSE & D4F), the necessary lean tools and provide coaching and guidance support.
- This role will provide input into the refinement of iFlow via the Above Site IMEx/iFlow Deployment Lead.
How You Will Achieve It
- Lead successful Intelligent Flow (Iflow) at site in alignment with the Site IMEx and CI lead
- Network with stakeholders for both SME and D4F, define and align with Voice of Customer/Voice of Business, provide overall progresses.
- Coach Leaders and key internal Customers on how to manage the cultural changes requested.
- Lead successful Material Supply Excellence (MSE) progress as per agreed plan following the MSE playbook or alternative
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance Material Supply Excellence based on baseline Material Supply Excellence assessment
- Initiate related CI Initiatives at respective T3-T1 for designed / agreed process improvements to enable improved performance (calmness)
- Monitoring and measuring success of CI loops (e.g. Gemba)
- Ensure sustainment of IMEx Material Supply Ecosystem in alignment with the Site IMEx and CI lead according to IMEx operating standards
- Lead successful Design For Flow (D4F) progress as per agreed Site plan (product/product families) following the D4F playbook or alternative
- Identify current state for related products in scope
- Define desired / agreed future state respectively overall and detail performance goal and service level agreements between departments
- Identify necessary improvements to reach desired future state
- Ensure that process improvements are translated into role cards or service level agreements or equivalent standardization
- Ensure link to Material Supply Ecosystem with respect to parameters for new / improved standards
- Initiate related CI Initiatives at respective T3-T1 for designed / agreed improvements to enable improved performance (e.g. higher throughput and/or shorter lead time/Manufacturing Cycle time)
- Ensure adequate local (T1-T3) and Global visibility though IMEx / IMEx digital and related process (eg. Flow meeting unsing Batch tracker and Material Flow tool)
- Monitoring and measuring success of CI loops as part of IMEx (e.g. VMC, CI loop meeting, action / escalation, Gemba/coaching)

- Above Site Support with respect to alignment on deployment (coaching, guidance and support)
- External stakeholders (e.g. Manufactuitng Excelence leads, OPS VP) related to progress reporting
- Provide change management guidance and coaching where needed (or seek support)
- Support Maturity Healthcheck related to opportunities identified
- Partner with Site OpEx / Above Site to ensure that necessary capabilities are built as appropriate (specifically Material Supply & SAP or nGPS knowledge & skills, Lean and Six Sigma tools).
