**Robert Half** **Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **Project Controller (M/F/x) **for a permanent position based in Leuven.
Our client is a fast growing company active in the **energy sector**.
**As Project Controller (M/F/x) you will be responsible for**:
- Finance responsible for complex and large capex projects (+ 500 MEUR) in development or construction phase;
- Coordinate the entire financial process, in close cooperation with the colleagues of project finance and accounting & tax, to bring the project to FID (Final Investment Decision) and project completion (end of construction phase);
- Lead the entire budgeting, forecasting & reporting process over the development & construction lifetime and monitor the actual spendings;
- Responsible for monthly financial reports and presentations towards different stakeholders (management team, board of directors, banks, shareholders, internal departments);
- Responsible for the cash management of the project(s);
- Have a good understanding of project finance within a large capex project;
- Responsible for the analytical masterdata of the project(s) reporting in SAP;
- Conduct one-off or regular financial & investment analyses on more specific and complex financial aspects; By doing so, you will identify and mitigate potential financial risk areas, in cooperation with the relevant departments;
- Participate and contribute to continuously improving reporting, controlling and planning processes.
The required **profile** for the **Project Controller (M/F/x) **position:
- You obtained a master's degree in **finance**;
- You have at least **7 years' experience **and 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- You have a good ability to understand the complex financial & technical business and its interactions;
- You have in-depth knowledge of analytical and accounting concepts, and you are familiar with SAP and reporting systems;
- You have an interest in financial modelling;
- You are organized enough to be able to track multiple projects and perform several tasks at the same time;
- You are accurate and have strong analytical skills;
- You have strong social and communicative skills and can work both in team as autonomous;
- You speak and write fluently **English** and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
