Treasury Middle Office

We are looking for a **Treasury Middle Office and Bank Analyst** who is **analytical, proactive and a team player** to join our **Group** **Treasury Operations **team, based in our **headquarter **in **Brussels**, **Belgium.**

**About the role**

You will be responsible for all Treasury controlling, reporting and compliance requirements within the Group Treasury Operations department. Additionally, you will manage the local currency cash balances, maintain and expand the bank connectivity tools, system set-up and ensure adherence to best practices. As a part of this role, you will lead projects to enhance efficiency, maintain effective controls and deliver insights.

**Who you’ll work with**

You’ll join a team of 3 experts specialized in Treasury Operations. You’ll work closely with the front office team and other members of the treasury team. You will also supervise and coach the outsourced treasury back office and GBS banking team.

**What you’ll do**
- Daily cash management of treasury bank accounts and cash pools in local currencies
- Maintenance and expansion of bank connectivity tools, bank accounting set-up and level of adherence
- Monthly valuations and accruals of treasury instruments, including IFRS hedge accounting and related documentation
- Generate treasury reporting and analysis, including reporting into annual accounts
- Treasury compliance related activities, including FX hedging related controls and implementation of Treasury intercompany lending policies
- Be the first contact point for Treasury compliance and audit requests
- Lead and support various ad-hoc treasury projects

**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills**
- First experience in corporate treasury and/or sound understanding of treasury instruments
- Technology savvy - proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg and SAP TRM is a plus
- Business-fluency in English
- Continuous improvement mindset, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Excellent analytical skills and drive for accuracy
- A solid team player with strong coaching skills
