**About the Role**
FTI Consulting Brussels is looking for several interns to join our Tech, Media and Telecoms team. If you are looking to work in a dynamic and thriving sector team that crosses multiple issues, then this is the position for you.
In this role you will be part of a fast-growing team of experts who advise a broad range of clients at an EU, regional and global scale, active in the tech, media and telecoms space. Thus, a strong interest and/or prior knowledge on topics such as platform regulation, cybersecurity, data privacy and protection, or AI policy among others will be a considerable advantage.
As an Intern, you will work on different client accounts, support senior colleagues, and be involved in general day-to-day support of operations.
**What You'll Do**
- Deliver to clients : Monitor institutional and regulatory developments; conduct policy analysis and research on relevant TMT issues; draft reports and present findings to clients; participate in strategy sessions for clients.
- Build the business: Actively supporting the day-to-day work of the TMT team including keeping track of internal projects; monitoring and following relevant events; preparing internal presentations and briefings; providing support on the development of new business opportunities; among others.
- Team involvement: Work alongside senior colleagues on building development activities such as pitch preparation and delivery; manage client projects and accounts and actively drive the business forward.
- Networking: Attend relevant industry events; build a strong network within European institutions, think tanks, academia and others; and monitor developments and initiatives to flag to the team and our clients.
**How You'll Grow**
You will have the opportunity to work in some of the most challenging and fascinating public policy issues currently being tackled in Europe, advising a broad range of clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sector. You will be part of a dynamic and multinational team of experts based in Brussels and you will be able to work closely with professionals within FTI Consulting's global network.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree required. Studies in the fields of political science, international relations, EU policy, journalism, law or related areas are a plus.
- Proven skills and/or interest in politics, public affairs, advocacy, issues and reputation management.
- A keen interest and/or prior experience on tech, media and telecoms sector/policies.
- Proactiveness in communication and problem-solving.
- Professional demeanour and presence, including the ability to handle confidential information.
- Good organisation and presentation skills with a keenness for client and project management.
- Ability to digest and summarise information to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player who can deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent English with one or two additional European languages preferable.
