V-IT is voor een van haar klanten naar een Accounting Analyst op zoek.
**Overview**
The Accounting analyst processes the capex figures in the ERP system accurately and in good time, and carries out the necessary accounting and financial audits. In addition, the balance sheet reconciliation and other financial files are guaranteed, reported and declared to the parties involved.
**Responsibilities**
- Practices and observes the accounting standards.;
- Carries out the accounting functions as a capex specialist, and possibly also in combination with other disciplines.
- Performs financial audits and analyses, thereby monitoring the accuracy of the figures, so that the monthly closing can be handled correctly, completely and on time.
- In addition, the Financial Controller is also responsible for the analysis and preparation/delivery of the financial reports.;
- Provides the requested information and offers assistance to the various departments before, during and after the audit.;
- Carries out the monthly variance analyses, coordinating these inter-company and explaining the differences in the actuals.
**Required qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience + knowledge NL - ENG
- Has experience with accounting packages, coding, booking and following up invoices.
- Uses and carries out processing in an ERP system(s).
- Able to prepare balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up on outstanding balance sheet positions.
- Carries out the financial processing in a correct manner, according to the different accounting standards
- Analyzes the balance sheet items and performs additional analysis to promote the current functioning.
- Handles changes flexibly, but can monitor the accuracy and focus in periods of accounting deadlines.
- Works autonomously and can take on responsibilities and ownership within the domain of own expertise.
- Is able to handle accounting data honestly, discreetly and reliably.
- Social and communication skills for the interaction and collaboration with team members
- Acts as a point of contact for stakeholders (external audit, controlling, SOX, etc.) within the own domain of expertise.
Shows a basic knowledge of the SOX legislation.
